Inspiring user stories
Our users love Activy
Activy is a game for everyone: for professional cyclists and for urban bikers. There are no two same stories. Andrew motivated himself to beat the set goal, Peter to jump on a bike after 20 years of a break, and Longina to commuting by bike to work more frequently.

I had bought a cute new bicycle this year so I was testing it in the competition. I cycle mostly to work but also after it and on weekends. I have 6,5 km to the office - it’s a bit too little for me but I have a friend who has just 3 km and is happy she can make it by bike.

Huge THANK YOU first of all for this great bicycle adventure.
Since the competition started I have made 2 000 km - that’s more than for last 20 years all together for sure. Joining this game I assumed hitting 100 km would be an achievement. Maybe that’s why as ‘not-biker’ I had no idea how fast I could do that distance. After some time we went to Tricity with my wife and made 180 km :)
I do not know if this will be an interesting story, but let me say this: last year I started - after years of saving myself - cycling a bit more intensely. In May, commuting to and from work by bicycle, I made rides of about 10 km a day. As the challenge came, I started to spin more intensively and so ended October with every day rides between 50 and 90 km.I wouldn't have thought that I would cycle that INTENSELY. I feel great, I even lost a few unnecessary kilos. I can't fail to mention that my beloved wife had a big part in it. I keep my fingers crossed for this kind of initiative.

I have about 13 km to work. Before Activy I didn't ride a bike at all but with the challenge I decided that I would start. My son also had a competition at school and we motivated each other. Before that I was competing with people from my company in walking challenges. When one of my colleagues sent me information about the competition, I didn't hesitate to join.

Bike IT challenge is a very nice idea for engaging employees in competition. We took part in the first edition, all members of the team scored points and tracked the results on a regular basis. For people who ride a lot it was an additional motivation for more and longer trips. And those who have a bicycle and rarely use it, collecting points motivated them to commute to work - even if the weather was not ideal or for other reasons they didn't plan to ride a bike. The Activy app allows you to track individual and team progress. Thanks to the integration with the Strava, registering routes is quite simple and doesn't require much of an effort, and by the way - encourages the further collection of kilometers even after the end of Bike IT.
I bought my bicycle in May, I had been always dreaming about it. Since that time I have been cycling to work. Commuting by city bus during rush hour was taking 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes. By bike I need 30-35 minutes :) OGR motivated me even more to ride a bike! Thanks to this I feel a huge belongingness to our beautiful city and hapiness that I can represent my company :)

In the first edition of the competition I was its main ambassador. Since three years I’ve been fascinated by electric bike. I’m cycling event to our clients. They’re surprised sometimes but it helps me to stand out.
After a month of commuting by bike I got a book ‘How cycling can save the world’ from friend of mine who saw how much I got into this. I needed 2 weeks to get into the habit. I had been cycling a bit previously but just now I realised bike is faster than city bus and I don’t have to wait for it. I can choose different roads and diversify my way to the office :)

I had bought my bike at the end of August and thanks to this application I started commuting by it. I have made almost 1000 km till now! I feel much better :) Next year I’m gonna take part in this activity too. Thank you a lot!

The idea of the application is cool! It’s a huge motivator to ride a bike (even in the rain) and nice gamification in a workplace for employees. Emotions there were great! The idea grade: 5+.

Activy is a great example of good gamification. The application is user friendly and functional, encouraging to do more and more kilometers. The competition motivated me to ride a bike daily to the office and other places. I even got my workmates in. What’s more, travelling to the office and back is much nicer now! Instead of crowds in a tram I have avenues or the green side of Vistula around me.

Bike has been with me since I was a kid. Just once I had a longer break due to my knees surgery but after it I started riding a roadster. Bicycle is an amazing stress buffer, a salvation - when I’m cycling, everything is getting out. That’s why I do it almost everyday, depending on how much time I have.

At the beginning I had set up a personal goal of 3500 km but then I started racing with my workmate. The will of competition and win became bigger – finally I made 5000 km! I had always been riding a bike but 3,5 years ago it turned on. I started running and preparing to triathlon (during the competition I neglected running and swimming a bit :)
You guys hit home with this idea. This activity made me fulfill few goals same time: do something good as volunteer, improve my fitness, play with my workmates and finally lose some weight - it had seemed to be impossible :) Thank you!

better health and wellbeing, charity
I like to ride by bike and work for charity. When I noticed the information in our office that we could support a charity by Activy application, I took the challenge willingly. We achieved the goal very fast but I didn’t stop cycling. It was my first time with an application tracking my activity. I saw that even if my average ride had just 4 km, I made 460 km in one and half month. Each kilometer was giving me motivation to stop looking for excuses and made more kilometers.

motivation for others
The whole game has a big impact on people’s awareness. The application itself is clear and there is no problem with something not working. I noticed that besides giving me the possibility to help others, have fun and compete with my workmates, the application made me riding a bike regularly. To such an extent that I’m keeping bicycle in my car almost all the time now and using every opportunity to have a ride

The challenge motivates to use a bike so much that I started choosing some ways around coming back from the office, taking additional rides on afternoons and longer ones on weekends.
Great fun, the application works fine. Thanks to you I’m riding a bike to work and most likely I’ll keep doing it for myself and the pleasure of ride. Thank you very much! Hope this activity will become a regular thing. I’ll always find some hotheads of bicycle initiatives.

I got to know Activy by accident, because the promo spot was next to the shopping mall, which I usually go to. I love competition just like I love bikes! I downloaded the app right away. I won all possible badges and several times I was on really significant places in the ranking. Activy gives you the opportunity to combine two important app functions for me: setting my own goals and achieving them, and competing in the ranking as well as between teams. For me, Activy is above all a great fun, game and entertainment all in one, but the ability to track your achievements and recall your results is also important.
